Bo Bailey has been licensed to practice law in the state of Mississippi since 2006. In addition to being admitted before all state courts, he is admitted to practice before the Fifth Circuit, United States Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts, Northern and Southern Districts. Mr. Bailey's primary areas of practice are public sector and government law, real property, and insurance defense. Mr. Bailey has also defended city and county governments in all types of civil rights litigation.
Mr. Bailey is a member of the American Bar Association, The Mississippi Bar, and the Lauderdale County Bar Association, having served as Treasurer of the latter in 2007 and 2008. He is a member of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute.
Mr. Bailey obtained his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi in 1997 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi’s School of Law in 2006. Before returning home to Mississippi to obtain his law degree, Mr. Bailey worked as a Travel Manager in the White House Travel Office for President George W. Bush, traveling with and coordinating international and domestic travel for the White House Press Corps.
Mr. Bailey is active in the community, having participated in Leadership Lauderdale (2011) and served as President of the Meridian Ole Miss Club (2009 and 2010). Mr. Bailey's Meridian roots run deep. He is a fourth-generation product of the Meridian Public Schools and is a supporter of Meridian High School athletics through the MHS Quarterback Club. Mr. Bailey and his wife, Kacey, also a lawyer at the firm, enjoy spending time with their daughters.
